Jialin Yao . Piano
Jialin Yao was born in Shanxi, China in 1999. He began to play piano at the age of 4, and started to learn from Professor Hong Fu, a great pianist from the Piano Department of China Conservatory of Music, ever since he was 8-year-old. Jialin Yao was admitted to the Attached middle school of China Conservatory of Music in 2011.
Jialin Yao has won prizes in many piano competitions, including the KAWAI Asian piano competition, YAMAHA scholarship competition, Steinway piano competition, Seiler & Samic Piano Competition and China Young Golden Bell Award competition etc. He is also the 1st prize winner (category A) of the 2016 Santa Cecilia International Piano Competition. In 2017, Jialin Yao was admitted to the Piano Department of China Conservatory of Music with the highest score among all students.
During his piano study, Jialin Yao had opportunities to receive professional guidance from many distinguished pianists including Dmitri Alexeev、Boris Slutsky、John Perry、Francesco Mirabella、Carles Lama、Craig Sheppard、Jasmin Arakawa、Yundi Li and Lang lang etc. All of the pianists speak highly of Jialin Yao.
Jialin Yao has participated in many large concerts, including the Karlsruhe city of Mannheim, China concert, the 2011 Zhongshan Music Hall Outstanding student concert of the Attached middle school of China Conservatory of Music, the Student concert for the 15th anniversary of the Attached middle school of China Conservatory of Music , the Concert for students of National Piano Teaching Seminar etc.  As the deputy chairman of the school club named "training day" , Jialin Yao also attended the rehearsals and many performances of musical like Les Misérables , Notre Dame de Paris, lighting sound and more others.
In 2015, Jialin Yao held a solo concert in the Attached middle school of China Conservatory of Music, and it was a huge success. He established and presented the largest Orchestra in the history of the high school, and he played the Tchaikovsky First Piano Concerto, which has never been played by other students in the school. The concert welcomed a large audience and received high praise from all walks of life.
